Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Gyms & Fitness Flooring

What flooring do you install for home gyms?+
We install pour-in-place rubber flooring, rubber tiles, and rolled rubber for home gyms, garage gyms, and commercial fitness facilities. Each option provides impact absorption, noise reduction, and equipment protection.
How thick should gym flooring be?+
For general fitness, 3/8 inch rubber is sufficient. For heavy weightlifting and Olympic lifts, we recommend 1/2 to 3/4 inch thickness. Deadlift platforms may use 1.5+ inches for maximum impact protection.
Can rubber flooring be installed in a garage gym?+
Yes. Garage gyms are one of our most popular applications. We can install seamless rubber flooring over your existing concrete garage floor, creating a professional gym surface that protects both you and your equipment.
Is rubber gym flooring easy to clean?+
Yes. Rubber gym flooring can be swept, mopped, or pressure washed. It resists moisture, bacteria, and odors. Seamless pour-in-place rubber is especially hygienic since there are no seams where dirt can accumulate.
